FOOTBALL IS MORE THAN A GAME

When you think of football, what do you think about? A bunch of jocks that get everything handed too them? A bunch of assholes in school who think they can get away with everything? Kids that think they're better than everyone else? In all honesty none of those are true! The game of football is more than just a game. Being a football player I would know. When people streotype us it pisses us off because all that information isnt true. Football teaches us more things we will use off the field then we use on the field. We learn team bonding and learning trust, we learn how to hard work, dedication, and lastly we learn how to compete

In this speech by Al Pacino in the locker room explains it all. He explains that we have to live our life, one inch at a time, and the margin of error is that close. All it takes is 1 inch in football or in life between making the right or wrong choices. He also talk about all of his mistakes me made in life and that he doesnt even stand looking at himself in the mirror and that if it wasnt for his football team he wouldn't be there. He goes on to say you have to look to the guy next to you and look into his eyes and you'll see a guy that is willing to go that inch with you and that is the perfect example of gaining trust. Thats why football is more than a game!
